Addicted Kid is a live advocacy and resource center dedicated to helping adolescents and their families suffering from addiction. Addicted Kid offers comprehensive guidance, treatment placement, advocacy, and support. Addicted Kids’ center takes the time to learn all about the adolescent and their family in order to make the most accurate recommendations and be the most helpful. When a child suffers from addiction, the whole family does. The agents at Addicted Kid will be there for you and your adolescent in every way possible – from family education, helping you find assistance in your local area, treatment options, and long-term support.
- Dealing with an addicted child can be incredibly stressful and many times overwhelm the parents with worry, fear, and guilt – compromising their ability to properly focus and take action towards treatment. Please know that addiction is a human disease that does not discriminate by age, gender, or upbringing and there is nothing to feel guilty about. There is only knowing that there is a problem and doing something about it. It is to this end and in full support of the child and their parents that Addicted Kid offers its services.
- AK’s team approach to helpfulness is aimed at being a trustworthy and loyal personal assistant as you seek answers, advisement, and help. Whether helping you with treatment options or just being a friendly ear to listen to you during fearful or frustrating times – the team at Addicted Kid wants to make sure they are available and stay by your side whenever questions and concerns come up.
- As part of its development, Addicted Kid is currently building a network of quality, licensed, accredited, and dual-diagnosis adolescent partner facilities throughout Southern California. Through this network, AK aims to offer a diverse choice of adolescent treatment options including Detox, Inpatient, Outpatient, and specialized care.
- Addicted Kid team members are not medical professionals or doctors, and do not diagnose or give medical advice. They are however real people, knowledgeable advocates, and parents with their own first-hand experience with addiction in young people. Human to human, their goal is to support you, guide you, and be a source of hope. Although the journey can be hard, don’t give up. Having been through the process themselves, they know first-hand how important it is to have someone on your side as you work to better your child’s life.
